How Acupuncture Work

What, How and When You Need Acupuncture

What Is Acupuncture

Acu means ‘sharp needle’ puncture or acupuntura means ‘to prick.’ Acupuncture has been practiced by Indian, Arabs, Incas, Chinese, but credit goes to the Chinese because they have documented evidence ‘Huang Ti Sue Wen’ the book of Chinese Acupuncture and Moxibustion written 271 years before Christian Era.
Acupuncture is an ancient art and science of healing which some says it was practiced in China since 4000 years ago.
According to ancient book there are 365 basic acupuncture points, but today the clinical points of acupuncture has increased to moer than 2000 points with 12 basic meridian or channel and 2 Extra Meridian.

How Does Acupuncture Works To Cure

This again become mysterious as how acupuncture was founded 4000 years ago, it is ancient and yet it success and wide spread practiced throughout the world show that acupuncture does give a mysterious curative power to heal the sick without any side effect or with any drugging. Or as the Pakistani Arm Forces said – ‘Acupuncture as pain relief without drugs !’
According to Chinese philosophy of healing, the human body is governed by ‘chi’ [ a life force ] ‘tenaga batin’ which is continuously circulating along the acupuncture channels. The chi [ qi ] consists of two dynamically opposite yet harmonizing energies called ‘Yin and Yang’
Yin signifies the female and negative energy while Yang signifies the male and positive energy. In health ‘Yin and Yang’ are in perfect balance. Any inbalance yin and yang will cause disease. Through Acupuncture needling, it will help to balance the energies thus result ‘the cure’
Western scientist through ‘Research on Acupuncture by MRI’ shows that when acupuncture needle were inserted at some acupuncture points will trigger chemical substances and neurotransmitters ( Endropin, Enkeplins, etc) which pass nerve impulses to the brain to bring about the desired effect.
